Rizzle Kicks are a duo compromising Jordan "Rizzle" Stephens (born 25th January 1992) and Harley "Sylvester" Alexander-Sule (born 23rd November 1991).
Originally both from north London, the friends both moved to Brighton. They met on the off-chance at Rizzle’s aunts’ house, then unknowingly bumped into each at a Sunday football match playing each other and then four years later, again at college.
The pair became known as Rizzle Kicks when “Rizzle” asked “Sylvester” to sing over a track he was working on for a mixtape and then they realized the potential to work together in a musical capacity.
Rizzle Kicks debut album Stereo Typical was released at the end of October 2011 and reached #5 in the UK Album Chart and certified Gold. Top singles from the album include “Prophet (Better Watch It)", "Down with the Trumpets", "When I Was a Youngster" and "Mama Do the Hump". All singles reached the top 10 in the UK Album Chart.
In February 2012, Rizzle Kicks were nominated for a BRIT award for British Single and performed the song 'Heart Skips A Beat' with Essex boy Olly Murs at the 2012 BRIT Awards which took place at The O2 Arena, London.
